It is possible that Thomas HACKETT was related to Captain Thomas HACKETT of Lancaster County, Virginia. It does seem that Captain HACKETT left no heirs, as he left his estate to his step-children, but he could have made settlements with the children of his first wife, if there were any, at the time of his remarriage or when they became of age. In 1724, Thomas HACKETT acted as executor of the estate of Patrick KELLEY in Middlesex County, Virginia. On 4 July 1727, Thomas HACKETT admitted additional inventory of the estate of Patrick KELLEY at Middlesex County.
Thomas married 1 Miss KELLY daughter of Patrick KELLY and Catherine NICHOLLS before 1724 in of Middlesex County, Virginia.
